Within this training package several courses are offered presenting key aspects related to chemicals and waste management: â€‹

For these courses, certificates of completion are available. Each course is self-paced and takes approximately 45 minutes to one hour to complete. For the specific objectives and content, please click on the course you would like to do.

Additionally, you can sign up for the paid course “Classifying and Labelling Chemicals According to the UN GHS” (Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals). The overall goal of this course is to enhance the participants' knowledge and skills for applying the GHS. Participants will learn about the purpose, scope and application of the GHS; classification of hazardous substances and mixtures; and hazard communication (i.e. labelling and safety data sheets). The course gives participants the opportunity to apply the knowledge to different exercises and tests so they will be prepared to implement the GHS in their own work contexts.
