The Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI) provides forensic services using state-of-the-art science and technology. The NFI contributes to successful criminal law enforcement by improving the information position of public prosecutors, police and other law enforcement officers. The institute comprises over thirty different forensic disciplines that often work together in a multidisciplinary environment. The NFI Environmental Forensics research unit is dedicated to technical research in environmental criminal cases.
