Elise Vermeersch – UNITAR SCYCLE
Ms. Vermeersch is a Research Associate at the United Nations University Vice-Rectorate in Europe – Sustainable Cycles (SCYCLE) Programme. She started working with the U.N in 2013, and since she joined the SCYCLE team in 2016, she has been involved in several projects related to transboundary movements and management of waste, sustainable development, and circular economy. She is actively contributing to project development and implementation, strategic cooperation, event & training organisation, research activities, data collection and analysis, and the development of awareness raising campaigns. Ms. Vermeersch holds a double master degree in New Technologies Law from Lille and Murcia Universities.
