Her work is mainly focused on applied research and training for law enforcement and legal professionals. She has several years’ experience in the field of multi-stakeholders trainings development (both face-to-face and e-learning), especially within the enforcement sectors, and preparation of training modules materials.

She currently also works as senior researcher at the Research centre on security and crime (RiSSC) and she has been a project analyst for the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI) from 2010-2018.

Before joining UNICRI, Ms. D’Angelo worked with multiple international organizations and NGOs, both at the institutional level and in the field, dealing with development issues.
